Viewsonic PJD5122 – 4 Myths About LCD Projector Answered
Viewsonic has just released its latest projector, the Viewsonic PJD5122 SVGA DLP Projector. Just like other Viewsonic’s products, this projector has high quality deliverables, great features but also reasonably priced. If we’re talking about LCD projectors, there are 4 myths that needs to be answered prior to buying one. Those myths are as follows:
1. Don’t ever go for projector with SVGA resolution. In reality, most of us only need projector with SVGA resolution. This resolution is sufficient, even when you want to use it to play video games or watching the movies. You should, however, choose a projector with a higher level resolution if you want a real cinema-like home theater.
2. Choose projector with the most lumen. You should firstly determine where you will use this projector at. If you’re intended to use it in a completely dark room, even a 1500 lumen projector will be sufficient. High end projector with 5550 lumen is excellent to be used in a room as large as an auditorium, but will not be really beneficial in a regular size bedroom. Viewsonic PJD5122 with 2500 lumen is certainly placed in between those two. It’s perfect for medium size room with minimal light.
3. Portable projector is useless. With the increasing mobility among modern people, portable projector has become quite a necessity. Although it is true that most (if not all) pocket projectors available in the market delivers not so good presentation quality, you don’t really need to go for a large one. Some medium-sized projectors have already able to project high quality images and convenient enough to be carried around.
4. There’s no need for 3D feature. Let’s say you have created a 3D images to be presented for the next meeting with client. Without the 3D feature, all your efforts will be wasted. It is indeed not a must to have 3D features in your projectors (at least, not at the moment). However, this feature will gain popularity in the future as more movies/images are presented in 3D format. In order to anticipate this trend, Viewsonic PJD 5122 is already a 3D ready one.
Those four myths have, for so many times, led people ashtray. However, now that you know the truth, be wise in spending your money for a projector. Pricier and better projectors is not the only thing you seek anymore. The suitability between the chosen product and your needs is what does matter.
